Bridging The Gap China is a Mandarin language course based in the Yunnan province of China. Offering either a 1 or 2 month course, 4 times a year, the courses combine formal Mandarin lessons in the morning with sight-seeing and activities in the afternoons. During the course students will get the chance to travel around the Yunnan province, spending a week in each different location. Bridging the Gap China is an excellent introduction to Mandarin if you've never learnt any before, but also a great way to improve on any prior knowledge. The tutors are all university educated locals who have vast experience teaching Mandarin to foreign speakers. Apart from the morning lessons, which are spent in a classroom, the tutors stay with the students throughout the afternoons and evenings, giving students the chance to practice what they've learnt knowing that help is never far away. The courses are fully inclusive, taking all the stress out of travelling.
